The Story Behind Poems 4 Julia

It all started when my oldest daughter Julia was 2 years old. Every night I would lie down next to her to read her a story or a few childrens poems. After a few weeks of traditional kids poetry I started to think …. I wonder if she would appreciate a few poems that were written about her and her life. Well she did, and so I kept on writing.

These poems are a combination of my children and my imaginations. Writing these kids poems has helped me get down on the ground and to see the world from a child’s eyes. I hope these poems bring you as much happiness as they have us.
