Sometimes it’s just best to tell a story, so here goes.

Julia my 4.5 year old told everyone at the dinner table last week (which included a very special 12 year guest who shall remain nameless) that she wanted Justin Bieber to come to her birthday party.

A quick aside: Justin if you are in the Central PA region in June and would to stop by a happening birthday party… email me.

Now back to the story.

The 12 year old guest chimed in that she had recently sent Justin Bieber a letter. Well that got my attention. “So,” I said, “what did your letter say?” She went on to say that a lot of her friends were mad at Selena Gomez, but not her. She said that she liked Selena and that unlike some of her friends she didn’t want to hurt Selena.

Oh to be 12 again!

In our house we play a lot of Duck, Duck, Goose. It’s amazing how much easier those kids pop up from a sitting to a standing position.
Now, every once and a while it gets a bit too rough – we call that Duck, Duck, Mongoose.
