Short Poem
So what if I’m short
Been this way all my life
Got 2 short kids and a lovely short wife
We’ve got more room for us to walk around
Cause our furniture’s smaller
and closer to the ground
We bought a full-size house
It was just 3 stories high
So we added 3 floors between our 3 floors
Doubling the size
So we have 6 floors for us to use
And while cleaning is a hassle
It’s a small price to pay for living in
Our little tiny castle

About the poem Short Poem:
Sometimes you see someone or something and it changes your perspective a bit, and that is exactly what happened with this kids poem. So I started thinking, what if I was the size of Mini-Me (that’s 2 ft 8 in, just looked it up, also his name is Verne Troyer in case you were wondering). If I were 32″ tall I could get really creative with my living conditions. And thus, a short poem is born.
I must admit that when I finished the poem I had a terrible thought, what if there was a third child that turned out to be more average in height. Oh no, the jig is up.
